Meet the Artist

A proud Gunggari artist, raised in a small town in South West Queensland.

As a child, I was always searching for the next arts and crafts project to get my little hands into. Creativity came naturally to me, but as the years passed, I lost touch with my creativity. It wasn’t until a few years ago that I rediscovered my love for art and painting, reigniting a passion that had always been there.

​

Growing up in the country has played a significant role in shaping my work. I spent much of my childhood outdoors, camping, water skiing, riding motorbikes, and doing cattle work on the farm. Surrounded by wide open spaces and endless horizons, I developed a deep appreciation for the land and the beauty found in everyday moments.

Now, for the last 3+ years I have been living on the coast in sunny North Queensland and now working as a Registered Nurse.

 

My artistic style continues to evolve as I explore new ideas, techniques, and forms of expression. Drawing inspiration from memory, landscape, and lived experience, my work combines intuitive linework, bold colour, and texture to create contemporary pieces that are both personal and expressive.
